Photo Journal: The Inspiration Behind our Limited Run: Waves
The clear, teal pools of water formed by a backeddy on the Middle Fork of the Salmon. The green brown spring run-off at the start of a season, full of debris and sediment and nutrients, rushing its way downstream. A wave that sprays and pulses and twists, giving language to the river. These are the colors, textures, and shapes that inspired us to create our Limited Run: Waves cribbage boards. The Salmon River, which runs right through the heart of the Frank Church Wilderness, as well as our backyard here in Idaho, is particularly special to me. I’ve had the privilege of spending over 400 days on this river; more than one year of my life has been spent sleeping along its shores, staring in awe at its towering Ponderosa pines.
